About Ellen
My interest in holistic health began when I was 16 and would sneak off to Greenwich Village to take yoga classes with a "mystical" yogi. With some twists and turns along the way, I ultimately chose the path of holistic healing. In 1990, I became a chiropractor earning a doctoral degree from Life College in Atlanta, Georgia, where I practiced for several years before returning to the northeast.
Additionally, I am certified in Shiatsu (Japanese style acupressure) and have formal training in Active Release Technique, Neuromuscular therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Zero Balancing and Reconnective Healing. I have extensive though informal training in nutrition and yoga and have been a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation (TM) for 40 years.
